Why Should You Visit ?

Instead of travelling across different countries to meet suppliers, visitors can connect with manufacturers from Türkiye, Portugal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, China, Egypt and many other sourcing destinations under one roof. ITF Intertex Portugal brings together diverse sourcing regions in a single business platform, which makes supplier discovery faster and more efficient.

Visitors can discover everything from yarns and fabrics to garment manufacturing, sourcing services, technical textiles, leather and footwear solutions. Instead of attending multiple specialized events, buyers can access a broad industry ecosystem in one location.

The exhibition showcases companies focused on sustainability, technical textiles, automation, digital transformation and innovative manufacturing solutions. Buyers and industry professionals can gain valuable insights into emerging technologies and market developments that can shape the future of the textile and fashion industry.

Portugal’s strategic position within Europe makes the exhibition a valuable meeting point for brands, retailers, sourcing offices and manufacturers. Visitors can strengthen existing partnerships and identify new business opportunities across European and international markets.

Whether you are looking for new suppliers, production partners, innovative materials or manufacturing technologies, ITF Intertex Portugal offers direct access to decision-makers and industry professionals who are actively seeking new business relationships and collaborations.

ITF Intertex Portugal has become one of the most influential exhibitions for textile industry. Organized in 2026 at Exponor – Porto the event brought together diverse participation of textile industry professionals, businesses, and organizations from all over the world. 150 exhibitors from 15 countries showcased their latest trends belonging to textile industry. Participants from more than 20 countries caught the opportunity to meet and network with leading industry actors and to discover latest advancements in textile industry.

WHY PORTUGAL?

Portugal’s textile industry is concentrated in the north of the country especially in the Porto and Braga region. In this region manufacturers, fashion brands, machinery suppliers, innovation centers and sourcing companies operate within the same ecosystem. For visitors, this means direct access to a complete textile value chain and one of Europe’s most dynamic manufacturing regions.

Unlike many trade fair destinations, Portugal offers visitors the opportunity to connect not only with exhibitors at the fairground but also with a well-established local textile and apparel industry. The exhibition serves as a gateway to long-term business relationships with Portuguese manufacturers, suppliers and industry organizations.

Visitors can meet Portuguese companies while also connecting with manufacturers from leading textile-producing countries such as Türkiye, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, China, Egypt, Tunisia and Spain, creating a unique environment for supplier comparison, market exploration and business development.

Portugal has earned international recognition for its focus on sustainable production, innovation and advanced manufacturing technologies. Visitors gain exposure to companies and solutions that reflect the future direction of the global textile and fashion industry.

Since Portugal is  well connected to major European business centers, it provides an accessible and business-friendly environment for industry professionals looking to expand their network and explore new opportunities across Europe.
